Gay marriage has been a civil rights issue for a few years now.This is because it is against many religions. Many gays are upset about this and are fighting for their rights.(wikipedia.com)

Gays didn't have the same rights as all the other people. Today they have more rights then they had before.Now some states in the United States allow gay peole to marry each other. Massachusetts is one of the states that have allowed gay marrige.Though it is not as bad as it was back then they still are not equal as straight people.
