In 1941 black people were treated horrible! They had no type of freedom in there lives. They couldn’t sit in certain places or do certain things without being kicked out, beat up or sent to jail. White children had the proper school, clothing etc. black people had separate schools from the white kids. In the black schools with no space, no school supplies, no creative coloring around.
