Campaign for a Clean South Bronx
Rosa Parks (for use with "Activist" Theme)
Environmental rights include the right to a clean environment, safe air to breathe, and access to natural resources like waterways and parks. This campaign aims to create awareness about the importance of environmental rights and why we need to protect them.

Connection to Past Civil Rights Movements

In 1941 black people were treated horrible! They had no type of freedom in there lives. They couldn’t sit in certain places or do certain things without being kicked out, beat up or sent to jail. White children had the proper school, clothing etc. black people had separate schools from the white kids. In the black schools with no space, no school supplies, no creative coloring around. This all took place in

Greene County, Georgia
. Since the black kids saw that the white kids were being treated better they took the school segregation to court. This is a social injustice because it really happened and it was part of everyday life.
